David Steele, Marc Lafrance, Bryan Adams, Jack Blades, and Steven Tyler join Vince Neil in the booth at Little Mountain Sound to work on background vocals for "Same 'Ol Situation" and "Sticky Sweet."

Aerosmith, a strong influence on Vince and Nikki especially, happened to be recording Pump at Little Mountain and staying at the same residence hotel as Mötley. Every morning, Vince, Mick, Tommy, and Nikki would get up and go to the gym, where they would hang out with the members of Aerosmith before riding their motorcycles to the studio.
