Dr. Feelgood Art

Tattoo artist Kevin Brady, then working at Sunset Strip Tattoo Parlour, created the Dr. Feelgood artwork alongside an illustration by artist Don Brautigam (of Master of Puppets cover art fame).

Nikki Sixx told Louder in 2016 that “Kevin had tattooed us for a while, as well as others on the scene, like Ozzy, Billy Idol, and Sean Penn. He was very talented, so why not? It seemed like a good choice – and it worked out very well.”

Brady also offered a new take on the band’s logo which is still in regular use today.
