The band is ready for takeoff on the Dr. Feelgood Tour. Photographer Ross Halfin couldn't remember if this shot was taken at the Van Nuys airport or somewhere in Texas, but he did remember traveling with the Crüe on the way to San Diego. "I remember flying past the Hollywood sign and Tommy Lee turning to me and in all seriousness saying, 'I’ve never seen the Hollywood sign before!' I’m thinking 'Huh?
